and join other GT students in having some fun!

Parents, spend time networking with other GT parents.  If you can, bring your laptop or tablet so you can explore Austin ISD GT resources.

 This event is designed for students and family to have fun as they explore some of the historic, cultural and iconic places in Austin.
  1. The event will require that you have a phone or tablet that has a camera and internet access to participate in the DIGITAL SCAVENGER HUNT!
  2.  There is no cost to participate!
  3.  Parents: please email your name, and names of all of children participating as your registration no later than November 1, 2013 to  AISDGTFUN@GMAIL.COM

The Davidson Institute for Talent Development  strives to recognize, nurture and support profoundly intelligent young people and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference. Below are a few resources that may be of interest:

2014 Davidson Fellows Scholarship Applications

The Davidson Institute offers $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000 scholarships to students whose projects have the potential to benefit society, and are equivalent to college graduate level with a depth of knowledge in a particular area of study.
Category requirements for the 2014 Davidson Fellows scholarships are now available.

Davidson Young Scholars

The Davidson Young Scholars program provides FREE services designed to nurture and support profoundly gifted young people and their families, including talent development and educational advocacy, an online community, annual get-togethers, and the Ambassador Program.
