The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center in collaboration with Austin Community College and the Telling Project present "Telling: Austin, TX." This performance is eight Central Texas veterans and their family members telling their stories of life in the military. These are our soldiers, and members of our community speaking about what service to the country has meant to them and to us. Admission is free.

Make college a reality! Join us for the third part of our online series designed to help students and parents with planning and paying for college. Presented in both English and Spanish, these free informative sessions are a great opportunity for families to realize that college is within reach.
5–6 p.m. EDT: Comparing Aid Awards
Gain insight into comparing financial aid award letters. This presentation will help you understand how to make an informed decision about selecting a college based on the type of aid it's offering. A special overview of the BigFuture™ financial aid tool "Compare Your Aid Awards" will be shared to help ease this process.
6–7 p.m. EDT: Making the Right Choice: Selecting a College
Are you interested in learning how to select a college? Does the process seem overwhelming? An experienced counselor will show you the ropes and guide you through the decision-making process.
7–8 p.m. EDT: DACA Workshop
This workshop will cover information regarding the requirements for eligibility and the application process for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) initiative. The presenter will also share the steps these students need to take to enroll in higher education.
