K-12 Scholarships for Summer Enrichment and College - Due 2/24/17

The 2017 Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) scholarship application period is open until February 24; all applicants will be notified of their status electronically on April 15. Summer Enrichment Scholarships
Awarded to identified gifted students grades K- 12, who are currently participating in a gifted program and who want to enrich their learning experience during the summer months. The maximum summer scholarship award is $400. Students may use these scholarships to attend programs with an academic, fine arts, or performing arts focus. 

Laura Allard Future Vision Scholarship
A $2,500 scholarship awarded to a graduating GT high school senior who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, possesses a strong sense of purpose and clearly defined goals, and has a long-term plan for achieving these goals.

Adelle McClendon Young Leader Scholarship
A $2500 scholarship awarded to a graduating GT high school senior who has demonstrated outstanding leadership.

TAGT/SMI Scholarships
Attend the Summer Mathematics Institute (SMI), a 3-week residential program with an intense focus on mathematics. Sponsored by the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas.

WHAT IS SO UNIQUE ABOUT THE TEDXYOUTH@AUSTIN EVENT?


TEDxYouth@Austin is organized and produced by a dedicated team of youth leaders with key oversight from experienced adult mentors. Unlike most other youth events, TEDxYouth@Austin brings together students from all demographics in a non-competitive atmosphere. Our event is both one of the first and largest TEDxYouth events in the world, and we continue to grow each year. Attendance to TEDxYouth@Austin is completely free, and in exhange, our attendees commit to 4 hours of community service. We believe that our event has the ability to change the way today's youth- the leaders of tomorrow- engage with the world around them.

UNCF STEM Scholarship for HS Seniors - Due 2/23/2017




Tiered tuition scholarships up to a total of $25,000
  • $2,500—freshmen and sophomores academic years
  • $5,000—juniors and seniors academic years
  • An additional $5,000—fifth-year students
  • A $5,000 internship stipend for a STEM-related project
