TAGT 2014 Video Contest and Photo Gallery

Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented (TAGT)

TAGT is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting and empowering educators and parents to meet the unique social, emotional and intellectual needs of gifted and talented students.

TAGT 2014 Video Contest and Photo Gallery

TAGT is sponsoring a video contest, Gifted 24-7, and a photo gallery,Capture G/T, in support of the 2014 TAGT Annual Conference theme, In Focus. TAGT seeks to showcase the voices and images of gifted students across the state, as well as encourage creativity and collaboration!

Both activities are open to the public, regardless of current TAGT membership status.

We look forward to your submissions, have fun!
Gifted 24/7

The overall goal of Gifted 24/7 is to explore what it means to be gifted from a student perspective. Each video submission should explore how being gifted and talented can impact a student's time at school, at home, with friends, and general day-to-day life. We hope to identify the best things happening in those areas that allow students to achieve their full potential and completely express their gifts and talents!
Two winning entries will be awarded a $500 prize to be used by the school's campus to support the gifted program and will be shown during a TAGT 2014 General Session in front of 2,000 attendees.
So, are you ready to gather a group of gifted students on your campus and channel their inner Steven Spielberg? Click here to get started!

Capture G/T

To honor both the conference theme and gifted students, TAGT is looking for striking digital images to celebrate G/T individuals of all ages! Your Capture G/Tphotos should highlight the diversity of what it looks like to teach and parent gifted students at home, in the classroom and in the community.

Select images will be displayed in the TAGT 2014 exhibit hall. Submit an original photograph that showcases gifted and talented individuals in action and what that looks like to you. We want to see what you see! Submit your photos here!
